Joe Warnke

 

Joe Warnke, 22, from North Georgia, has been homeschooled his entire life. He is now studying for his Bachelors of History. Currently, he is a licensed Georgia real estate agent.

He has been speaking publicly since 2001 and has competed in national speech and debate tournaments. Joe has won three awards giving speeches on historical topics. Joe’s account of the incidents at Fort Sumter, The Oncoming Storm, was selected for publication in an anthology of young Georgia writers, O, Georgia Too!, which was made available in Fall 2004. He has written numerous articles and lectures on historical topics and is currently doing the research for several forthcoming books, including one on the late Iraq War.

He has authored four history courses, including: The Colonies (c. 1002 - 1763 North America, primarily English holdings); The Founding (1763 - 1789 United States); Early Administrations (1789 - 1861 United States); The War Between the States (1860 - 1877 United States and Confederate States).

Joe is a member of the Col. Hiram Parks Bell Camp 1642, of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, located in Cumming, Georgia. The Sons of Confederate Veterans is a historical, patriotic, educational, benevolent, fraternal, non-political, non-racial, non-sectarian and non-sectional organization solely dedicated to the presentation of true history and the preservation of the honor of the Confederate soldier. For more information on the SCV, see: The SCV - Who We Are.

Joe is a member of Living Faith Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod, located in Cumming, Georgia. The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod is the second largest Lutheran church body in the U.S. and is the largest conservative, confessional Lutheran church body in the world.
